Clients can request a Ride for errands and trips on a non-emergency basis to the hospital or appointments. The service is to help assist where there is not a current method of assistance. Requesting a ride is a service that Tucked With Care uses to fill the gaps of assistance it is not to supersede or take the place of already established medical transportation. If a client uses a non-emergency request for a ride they must be accompanied by an employee and it must be done in the time period of scheduled shift.
Tucked With Care has no ability to make drivers wait for clients while in the store or perform any tasks outside of pick up and drop off service. Tucked With Care also does not have the ability to ask or make a driver wait longer than the set time of 5 mins before pulling off.
